Our Purpose

We distribute food and hope!

Reliable access to sufficient food is an essential element in building strong and vibrant communities, stable family units, a willing well-educated workforce and independence for the elderly.

Fighting Hunger ~ Martha's kitchen food distribution program serves the under privileged locally and the surrounding County. Martha's Kitchen is currently operated under the Damascus Road Life Center. We serve anyone who is hungry and in need regardless of who they are and where they are in life. Everyone deserves nourishment to help them in this life journey.

After seeing so many in need in the community, a group of community and business leaders came together to form an organization addressing the homelessness and food issues in the community, forming Damascus Road Life Center (DRLC). Established in 2018, DRLC has grown from providing basic needs for families in crisis, to offering extensive help and resources that facilitate the safety, stability, and self-sufficiency of low-income and episodically homeless households -- including domestic violence (DV) victims.
